Pharmacy Services

Pharmacy Services are provided to all our patients as prescribed by our doctors.  Last year we dispensed more than 8,300 prescriptions to our patients.  The retail value of those drugs was more than $275,000.  Many of our medicines are donated, either by community physicians or by the pharmaceutical companies. A small percentage of our medications are bought through the New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Again, through our partnership, the hospital sells us these medications at their costs.

• The pharmacy is opened every Wednesday from 10:00am -12:00 noon and every Wednesday evening from 5:00pm until close.  Patients who need refills can come at the time most convenient for them.
• The pharmacy is opened on Tuesday evenings for the Diabetic Clinic.
• The staff of volunteer pharmacists and pharm techs total 21.
